We would like to share the results of a sociological survey on "Stereotypes and prejudices of the population of Lviv region regarding orphans, children deprived of parental care and different forms of family placement". The survey was conducted by the Institute for Youth NGO with the assistance of the State Institute of Family and Youth Policy and supported by the partner company Sparrow Capital.

In this report you can find out the existing stereotypes and prejudices among the population of Lviv and Lviv region, as well as understand better the general readiness of the population for adoption.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the study was implemented in November 2021 - February 2022, before Russia launched the full-scale invasion. Due to this and the changes in the adoption process, the data obtained can only be used for guidance and to compare the pre-war situation, to which this study refers, and the post-war situation.
