Every child has the right to grow up in a loving and nurturing family. When families face hardship, they need timely support to help regain stability, strengthen relationships, and prevent family separation.
That is why Ridni Foundation implements the project “Support program for families in difficult life circumstances” in Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia, with the support of GlobalGiving.
We believe that helping children thrive starts with supporting not only the child, but also the adults who care for them and the community around them.
What do we do?
- provide individual and group psychological counseling for children and parents;
- organize group sessions, workshops, and developmental activities in safe spaces;
- facilitate support groups for parents, where they can receive professional help from psychologists, share experiences, and build resilience;
- help children make up for learning gaps by providing educational support in Math, Ukrainian, and English.
Our safe spaces are places where children can discover their talents, build self-confidence, socialize with peers, and feel supported. For parents, this is an opportunity to feel supported, learn to better understand their children’s needs, strengthen family relationships, and take care of their own emotional well-being.
The project is implemented in Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia with the support of GlobalGiving. Together, we help families overcome challenges and create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
