Every child has a right to grow up in a loving, safe, and caring family. However, when a family faces serious life difficulties or a crisis, it needs timely and professional help. It is exactly this kind of comprehensive support that allows parents to restore their internal resources, strengthen relationships with their children, and protect the child from social orphanhood.
Considering these challenges, Ridni Foundation, with the support of GlobalGiving, is launching a new project – “Support program for families in difficult life circumstances” in Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
We are convinced that to ensure a lasting sense of safety and the harmonious development of a child, it is important to work comprehensively: to support not only the children or teenagers directly but also the adults around them, as well as to strengthen the capacity of the entire community where the family lives.
Within the project, a wide range of free services and opportunities is provided for participants, in particular:
individual and group psychological consultations for children and parents;
thematic meetings, interactive workshops, and diverse developmental activities in specially equipped safe spaces;
regular support groups for parents, where under the guidance of professional psychologists they can receive professional help, exchange life experiences, and find new strength for the daily care of loved ones;
educational support for children aimed at making up for educational losses and helping with school subjects.
Thanks to joint efforts with partners from GlobalGiving, we strive to help Ukrainian families successfully overcome challenges, better understand the emotional needs of children, and build a family environment where every child can grow up happily and fully realize their potential.
