Ridni Foundation announces a call for 35 educators from across Ukraine who are ready to teach children how to understand, value, and accept diverse family structures.
Families come in many shapes and sizes: some children grow up with a mother and father, while others are raised by grandparents, guardians, or foster parents. What matters most is that every child feels that their family is important and deserves unconditional respect and acceptance. The goal of this initiative is to help school students understand that family is primarily about care, mutual support, warmth, and closeness.
For teachers, participation in the project includes:
a hands-on workshop where foundation specialists will introduce the teaching methodology and help explore the topic of family-based care in depth;
ready-to-use interactive tools, including cartoons, games, and creative activities for conducting a themed lesson;
an opportunity to organize a meaningful lesson for their students on November 20 – marking World Children’s Day.
The number of participants is limited to 35 teachers.
Registration is open through October 28.
