Group Sessions for Children Held in Kyiv as Part of Joint Ridni Foundation and WeWorld Project

On September 4, the first psychosocial support group session took place at the Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Center No.1 as part of a joint project by Ridni Foundation and WeWorld.

A total of 12 children aged 9 to 16 participated – getting to know each other, playing games, interacting, and discussing emotions. Through collaborative games and creative tasks, the children gradually learned to feel more comfortable in a group setting, connect with one another, and better understand their own emotions.

Such sessions help create a safe space where children can be themselves, be heard, and receive guidance from professionals. Ahead are new activities, friendships, and opportunities for children to receive essential psychosocial support.

Through the project “Rebuilding Childhoods: Integrated Support for Vulnerable Children in Kyiv”, we work with children, foster parents, and professionals to build stronger support systems that help children heal, learn, and build their future.

The project is implemented by Ridni Foundation and WeWorld, with the support of the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF).
