Ridni Foundation, in collaboration with WeWorld, is launching a new project – “Rebuilding Childhood: Comprehensive Support for Children from Vulnerable Categories in Kyiv”. The initiative is implemented with the financial support of Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF).
Over the next year, within the framework of the project, the foundation’s team plans to provide systemic support to approximately 355 children. These include residents of 19 family-type children’s homes, as well as children currently residing in 4 institutional care facilities in the capital.
To ensure the harmonious development and emotional recovery of the children, the program includes a number of important areas of work, in particular:
providing professional psychosocial and educational support;
holding regular art therapy sessions;
organizing various recreational and social activities.
We are convinced that to create a comprehensive safe environment, it is crucial to support not only the children but also the adults around them. That is why a separate focus of the project will be systemic work with foster parents, guardians, and professionals who care for the children every day.
Thanks to this cooperation, through joint efforts, we are creating more opportunities for children to recover from their experiences, develop comprehensively, and confidently build their happy future.
