Training “Supports that hold”: specialists learn to effectively support families

A two-day training session  “Supports that hold” took place in Lviv for employees of social services and children’s affairs services. The training was conducted by Halyna Khomchenko, a psychologist and therapy trainer.

Participants refined their skills in working with families facing difficult life circumstances, focusing on establishing emotional contact with a child, providing support, and conducting corrective work. The specialists also mastered doll therapy, the “Fate Doll” technique, and the “Goal Map” art therapy game, which helps determine paths for a child’s integration into society.

The training provided participants with effective tools for supporting children and their families, emphasizing that strong families are the foundation of a safe and happy childhood.
