Recently, Ridni Foundation team held an information meeting with the teaching staff of Lyceum No. 8 of Lviv City Council, dedicated to the topic of adoption and the development of family-based care.
During the event, specialists explained in detail how to start the journey towards adoption or establishing a family-based care arrangement. The participants discussed the key stages of this process, preparation nuances, and learned where future parents can seek professional support and guidance.
An especially valuable part of the conversation was the participation of an adoptive mother, Anna Safonova. She openly shared her own experience, spoke about the real challenges and joys of parenting, and sincerely answered the educators’ questions.
We are grateful to all participants for their deep interest in the topic and the lively, open discussion. By spreading information in communities and workplaces, we collectively shape a culture of support for children who need a family.
