July and August became a time of new partnerships, expanded reach, and impactful initiatives dedicated to supporting children and families across Ukraine. Behind every result is the collective work of our team, partners, and caring individuals united by a shared goal.
Here are the key highlights:
💛 Signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Partnership with The World Orphan Fund, expanding opportunities to engage global support for Ukrainian children.
💜 Represented the foundation’s work at the European conference/symposium Start2Act: “Safer Spaces and Participation in Cultural Education,” exchanging expertise on building safer educational environments.
💛 Initiated and held a public dialogue on new approaches to prevention and socio-psychological rehabilitation for adolescents with a history of psychoactive substance use.
💜 Together with WeWorld and supported by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), launched the initiative “Rebuilding Childhoods: Integrated Support for Vulnerable Children in Kyiv”.
💛 With support from GlobalGiving, began implementing the “Support Program for Families in Difficult Life Circumstances” across Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
💜 Interns Vlada and Solomiya joined our team, contributing to ongoing projects and bringing in fresh ideas along with their international experience.
💛 Organized and hosted “Family Day” events in Lviv and Velyki Mosty, creating a safe space of care and leisure for children and parents.
💜 Alongside the School of Municipal Governance of Unbroken University and the Child Services Department of the Lviv City Council, hosted child protection and care professionals from across the country.
💛 On August 26, participated in a coordination meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the civil society sector to align joint actions in mental health and social protection.
💜 Organized a summer school for foster families and family-type children’s homes in Lviv Oblast, providing parents and children with a place to rest, recharge, and rebuild their strength.
