Lviv hosted a specialized training session for child services specialists of the Lviv region, dedicated to the topic of social support for families with children within communities.
Together with trainer Elina Maksymets, the participants discussed in detail how to effectively and ecologically support families facing difficult life circumstances. The primary focus was on the specifics of social service provision, support for children who have suffered from violence, and the key role of specialists in this responsible work.
A separate section of the training was dedicated to the psychological aspects of interaction. The participants examined why resistance arises during the social support of families and how to properly structure consultations depending on a person’s readiness to change their situation. The training featured numerous practical examples, live discussions, and exercises designed to help specialists integrate this new knowledge into their daily work with children and families.
