Ridni Foundation supports families in Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia, helping them navigate difficult circumstances – from legal issues to psychological support for children and adults.
Need to apply for internally displaced person (IDP) status, replace lost documents, or understand your options for compensation for damaged housing? Is your child experiencing difficulties with speech, learning, or adjustment? Are you dealing with anxiety or emotional exhaustion and looking for support?
You can turn to the Foundation’s specialists for help with any of these concerns. The team includes a lawyer, psychologist, speech therapist, special education specialist, corrective education specialist, and case manager. They will help you understand your situation and identify the support that best meets your family’s needs.
⚖️ Legal assistance
A lawyer can advise you on:
– applying for IDP status and social benefits;
replacing lost documents;
– compensation for damaged or destroyed housing;
– pension-related matters;
– obtaining recognition as a victim of war crimes;
– submitting claims to the Register of Damage for Ukraine.
💬Psychological support
You can consult a psychologist about anxiety, fears, emotional and behavioral difficulties experienced by children and adolescents, communication, and adjustment.
The psychologist also supports parents dealing with emotional exhaustion, setting personal boundaries, and coping with difficult experiences. Dedicated psychological support is also available for women.
🧩Speech, development, and learning support
If your child has difficulties with speech, communication, reading, writing, concentration, or learning, you can turn to a speech therapist or an appropriate special or corrective education specialist.
Working with the family, the specialists will identify the child’s needs and recommend an appropriate approach to the sessions.
🤝Case management support
Not sure where to start or what kind of help you need? A case manager will help you understand your situation, coordinate the support you need, refer you to other specialists or services when necessary, and continue supporting your family throughout the process.
Who can apply?
Legal representatives of families in family-based care arrangements and families experiencing difficult life circumstances, as well as foster families caring for children aged 17 and under.
