In frontline communities, families live in constant uncertainty every single day. Frequent air raid alerts and schooling interruptions disrupt children’s education, while prolonged stress takes a toll on the emotional well-being of both children and parents. Forced relocations introduce further challenges to daily life. In these circumstances, it is crucial that effective help is close at hand, and that local services and professionals are equipped with the resources and specialized support needed to assist families.
Ridni Foundation is scaling its programs to Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions to stand by children, families, and local professionals amid the everyday challenges of war.
The newly established foundation space in Kryvyi Rih serves as the hub for the team’s work in the southeastern region, coordinating efforts across all three oblasts.
In these new regions, the foundation will implement its established, systemic areas of work:
prevention and early response to family challenges;
support for family-based care and foster families;
psychosocial support for children and parents;
programs for teenagers and youth;
professional guidance and supervision for community specialists.
For over 10 years, we have been creating systemic solutions for child safety. From now on, this experience will help families and communities where support is needed the most.
