On 25 November, Lviv hosted the “Child.Dream.Family” Forum — a platform that brings together government representatives, the civil sector, international partners, and professionals, to develop social services, promote family-based care, and ensure every child’s right to grow up in a family.
The forum brought together nearly 300 experts, along with representatives of local self-government, the social sector, NGOs, and charitable organizations. The event focused on transforming approaches to child protection, strengthening partnerships, and crafting solutions to create conditions where every child in Ukraine lives in a family environment rather than an institution.
Participants discussed the development of social services, support for family-based care, and the critical importance of having a safe and reliable adult by a child’s side — someone to help them dream, grow, and feel secure.
The Forum was organized by the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Ridni Foundation, in partnership with UNICEF and with support from the U.S. Government.
