On November 16, together with the Lviv City Council’s Children’s Services Department, led by Volodymyr Frdyrak, we were pleased to welcome UNICEF representatives to our family-style home in Riasne. This is another important step in the long-standing cooperation we have been building with our partners.
We were visited by Sheema Sengupta, head of UNICEF’s Child Protection Department, and her team: Nienke Voppen, Van Chi Pham, Jean Choi, and Iryna Svavolia.
The guests met four children who currently live in the family-style home: the children showed their rooms, talked about their hobbies, and shared a glimpse of their everyday life. Our specialists provided a detailed overview on how the family-style home service works and why it is crucial for children’s development and social inclusion.

I am very happy that we have been partners with the City and the Children's Services Department for more than 10 years and always implement effective and unique projects for children. We share a common goal — acting in the best interests of the child. We are always ready to create, improve, and change whatever is needed to ensure that children are safe and surrounded by family care. Thank you to the Children’s Services team for your dedication and professionalism. Thank you to UNICEF Ukraine for supporting our initiatives and ideas
