The Spilnota-Ridni small group home recently celebrated its second anniversary. To mark the occasion, the facility was visited by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi, representatives of the Lviv City Council’s Children’s Services, and the Ridni Foundation team.
Over the past two years, the project has become a place of safety and growth. The residents shared their achievements, hobbies, and future aspirations. For many, including a resident named Liza, Spilnota has become a true family and a vital support system during their transition to adulthood.
We have come a long way from the initial adaptation phase to a stable program that helps children unlock their potential and confidently build their own futures. Here, children learn to interact with others, find inner strength, develop leadership potential, and take responsibility for shaping their life paths. Our cooperation with the Lviv City Council is incredibly valuable, as it is the synergy between the public sector and the city that allows us to create sustainable solutions to support children and youth
