Podcast “Finally, we met.” Episode 2. The story of the Rudenko family

Publication content

In the second episode of our podcast, we introduce you to the story of Oleksandra and Dmytro Rudenko, parents of ten children.

Their journey to becoming a large family began with the adoption of three children in their native Mariupol. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the family moved to the Volyn region, where they adopted another boy. Later, the couple took another important step — they created a family-style children’s home, and their family grew by five more brothers. And then a special gift awaited them: Oleksandra found out she was pregnant.

This is a candid conversation about choice, love, and the strength of a family that grows even in the most difficult times. Listen to and watch the second episode of the podcast “Finally, we met,” which is truly inspiring and gives hope.

The project is being implemented by the Ridni Foundation in partnership with UNICEF.
