Today in Lviv, 13 young people who grew up without parental care received the keys to their own apartments.
Among them is Tetiana Perevezentseva, with whom we have walked this path together.
From the first days of her life, Tania lived in an orphanage, followed by many moves and new places, with little sense of stability or security. Despite this, Tania never gave up. She worked hard, saved money, launched a fundraiser, and together with Ridni Foundation and kind-hearted supporters, she managed to raise the necessary funds for the housing co-financing.
This was made possible thanks to the city’s co-financing program: 70% of the apartment’s cost is covered by the city, while 30% is provided by the children themselves, their guardians, or donors.
“This day is special not only for Tetiana but for all of us. Supporting our residents in acquiring their own homes is gradually becoming a wonderful tradition. This is already the second story where, together with the city and caring people, we help young people get a home of their own. Such synergy is incredibly valuable, as a home provides a foundation, safety, and the feeling that you are not alone. We are truly happy to be a part of this journey,” — Mariana Romaniak, CEO of the Ridni Foundation.
