What is the "Spilnota-Ridni" Community?

"Spilnota" is a support and development program for teenagers and youth (aged 14–23) who require social support and new opportunities. Our participants include:
  • Orphaned children and children deprived of parental care;
  • Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs);
  • Teenagers and youth with institutional backgrounds: those currently or formerly residing in residential care facilities;
  • Teenagers and youth in family-based care: those currently or formerly living in foster families, group homes, or under guardianship;
  • Young people facing difficult life circumstances.
What we do

What "Spilnota" Includes

Non-formal education

Trainings, workshops, interactive classes; development of independent life skills, financial literacy, and communication; Activities promoting civic awareness, patriotism, and self-discovery.

Psychological support

Individual and group consultations; safe environment for emotional growth; work on trauma, self-esteem, and stability.

Career guidance

Meetings with professionals from various fields; excursions to educational institutions and enterprises; individual consultations on career planning.

Educational support

Funding of additional courses, payment for tutoring services, and preparation for university admission.

Mentoring

Engaging volunteers as mentors for individual support; training and guidance of adults who become role models; building deep, stable relationships of trust.

Leadership development

Organization of youth camps, forums, and trainings; support for local initiatives through microgrants; encouraging youth participation in volunteering and community life.

Geography

The program’s reach is constantly expanding. Currently, the project is active in Dnipropetrovsk and Zakarpattia regions. Having successfully implemented activities in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv regions, we continue to work on expanding to new locations across Ukraine.

The project is implemented in close collaboration with local authorities, NGOs, trainers, psychologists, mentors, and donors.   

Funding comes from charitable contributions, donations, and partnership initiatives.  

Spilnota is people who believe in you, even when you don't yet believe in yourself.
