Ridni Foundation was honored to attend the grand opening of the British Embassy office in Lviv and the first official visit of the newly appointed Ambassador, Neil Crompton.
For our team, this event is of paramount importance. The opening of an office in Lviv is a clear signal of the UK’s strategic presence in the region and its commitment to long-term partnership. The United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s key allies—not only in security but also in social recovery, community development, and family support.
In 2025–2026, the UK is implementing the SPIRIT program (Social Protection for Inclusion, Resilience, Innovation and Transformation). This comprehensive initiative focuses on strengthening the social protection system, developing inclusive services for children and people with disabilities, supporting vulnerable families, and implementing sustainable reforms in the social sector.
For Ridni Foundation, this partnership is about shared responsibility and systemic transformation—creating a foundation for future development rather than just responding to immediate challenges.
We are grateful to the UK Government for their fruitful cooperation, support, and trust. In particular, in 2025, with this support, we successfully implemented the project ‘Strengthening the Capacity of the Family Support Service Department at the Ridni Center for Social Support of Children and Families.’ Together, we can do significantly more for children, teenagers, and families who need support the most, – Mariana Romaniak, CEO of Ridni Foundation.
