The implementation of the Batkivskyy Oberih program continues in the Lviv region. This initiative is designed for parents and guardians raising orphans and children deprived of parental care. The program provides a safe space where adults can receive support, expert advice, and a deeper understanding of their children’s needs.
There are no ”bad” parents. There are only parents who are going through a difficult time. Parenthood is a lifelong journey of learning, — says Zoryana Sprynska, a project psychologist.
As part of a joint project with UNICEF, specialists from the Ridni Foundation are training psychologists across the Lviv region. The training covers the program’s core principles, practical methodologies, and resource-based approaches.
Once trained, these psychologists implement the program within their communities by establishing parental support clubs. These clubs help adults build trusting, warm relationships with their children and better manage the daily challenges of parenting.
The Batkivskyy Oberih program is currently active throughout the Lviv region. To find out where meetings are held in your community and how to join, please contact your local center for social services, the social service delivery center, or the Ridni Foundation.
