“Sporidneni” (“The Kindred”) art project
The Ridni Charity Fund, together with Dzyga Art Center and Gallery 101, is implementing the “Sporidneni” charity project.
The aim of the “Sporidneni” project is to unite Ukrainian artists and children living in boarding schools and family-type children’s homes to create joint works of art.
During August, children and artists created works of art that combined the visions of the artist and the child into one work.
In September, all works were presented in such Lviv art spaces as the Museum of Ideas, Dzyga, Icon Art, Green Sofa Gallery, Andrey Sheptytsky National Museum, Sova Space, PM Gallery, Book Leo (Knyzhkovyi Lev), and Pavlo Gudimov Ya Gallery Art Center.
This made it possible to draw public attention to the wonderful collaboration of artists and children deprived of parental care.
From October 12 to 17, the works will be presented in the Futura Hub space, where a charity auction for the sale of works will take place on October 18.
All proceeds from the auction will be used to support and develop children’s creativity, namely setting up art workshops for children from boarding schools.
In this project, the artists’ worldview and children’s spontaneity shape a unique symbiosis, an exquisite work of art.
“Sporidneni” is an idea. We believe that there are no strangers or “others”—there are kindred hearts and spirits, as well as common good deeds.
